Remarkable megalithic monuments such as La Pastora, Montelirio or Structure 10.042-10.049 at PP4-Montelirio are found alongside hundreds of other features, including pits and large-sized ditches, some of which have yielded evidence of exotic material craftsmanship without parallels in Iberian Late Prehistory which also suggests long-distance contacts. The samples included specimens primarily from the Early Nasca (ca. A.D. 1e450) and Tiza (ca. A.D. 1000e1476) cultures from a total of 16 different prehispanic sites. The results of the analysis demonstrate centralized production of Early Nasca polychromes and decentralized production of pottery from the Tiza culture. A.D. 1-450) society is explored by evaluating the use of polychrome pottery within the context of a residential village.
